Wheelchair access
The building has wheelchair access. Behind the museum entrance door there is a lift which takes a visitor to the ticket office. Another lift is used to move within floors with displays.

Cloakroom
Visitors can use the cloakroom in the entrance hall and it is free of charge.
Food and drinks
Visitors can enjoy refreshments at Jean Paul’s museum bistro, built in 2023 on the ground floor of the museum building. The bistro offers breakfast, a daily menu, and a selection of food and drinks throughout the day. The bistro can be accessed from the Steam Engines museum exhibition or via a separate entrance outside the building.
Refreshments brought in from outside may only be consumed outside the exhibition areas, specifically in the entrance hall where vending machines selling drinks, sandwiches, cookies, etc. are located.
Toilets and a changing table
Toilets for men and women are located in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors including cubicles for disabled people.
Parents with toddlers can use a changing table located in the 2nd floor, in a toilet cubicle for disabled women.
